abuse. An abuser will often threaten a child with
harm to himself or his parents if he tells anyone
about the contact.
Let him know that you will keep him safe if anyone
has abused him. Sexual abuse is often
perpetrated by a friend or relative. If he denies
anything keep a close watch on people who take
an interest or want to take him away by himself.
If you find evidence that a friend or relative has
molested your child be sure to report it to the
police or Child Protective Services. Pedophiles
